Q – Is there a school uniform?

A – Yes, although not required for the Free Trial Class. For females: black Mirello 207 Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, and hip alignment belt.  All but the ballet slippers is available at the studio.  Ballet slippers can be purchased at any retail store that sells dance items.  For boys:  Black tights, white t-shirt/leotard, white socks, black ballet slippers.

 

Q – How much does it cost for the performance?

A – The non-refundable stage fee for the Spring Performance is $60/student or $90/family.  Female dancers must also purchase from ACB a brand new pair of tight for the performance at a cost of $16.  ACB provides the costumes (with the exception of street clothes and personal garments) at no charge to the students

 

Q – What forms of payment do you accept?

A – We accept checks or cash.

 

Q – What if my dancer misses a class, can they make it up?

A – Provided the request is made in writing prior to the class, a reasonable number of make-ups will be allowed.  This policy is not intended accommodate standing conflicts for an extended period of time.  For the complete Make Up Policy, please refer to the ACB Handbook

 

Q – When is tuition due and how am I billed?

A – Near the 1st of the month bills are sent via email to the address(es) provided on the Registration Form.  Tuition is due on the 10th of the month and is considered late on the 11th.  Tuition is always billed in advance of the classes being taken.

 

Q – Do I have to pay the fees up front?

A – Yes.  The non-refundable Registration and Stage fees are due at registration, prior to the first class (not counting the free trial class).  There are no exceptions.

 

Q – Do all students participate in the performances?

A – All non-adult students participate in the Spring Performance.  An audition and/or special classes/rehearsals/fees may be required for participation in the Winter Performance and the grand numbers in the Spring Performance

 

Q – Is it too late to start now or should I wait until the fall?

A – In general, the cut off for the repertory classes (highlighted and italicized on the Class Schedule) is October 15th in the fall and March 1st in the Spring.  For Technique only classes, the cut-off is March 1st in the Spring.  Exceptions are handled on a case by case basis.

 

Q – Does my annual registration fee cover the summer intensive program?

A – Yes, but only if you register by the early registration date indicated on the Summer Registration form.  After that, you will be required to pay the Late Summer Registration Fee.
